Esperance fans suffered suffocation at the stands of Hammadi Agrabi Olympic Stadium due to the gas bombs that were fired by the Tunisian police. 

The Tunisian police fired gas bombs inside the pitch, as a result of the clashes that erupted between the police and Esperance fans.
